Legal and Compliance

This page gives a brief, factual overview of the legal terms that apply when you use Syntic Code. It is a summary for orientation, not a substitute for the governing agreements themselves. Where this page and the official terms differ, the official terms control.

Terms of use

Your use of Syntic Code and the Amara assistant is governed by the terms you agree to when you sign in through api.syntic.ai. Those terms set out acceptable use, the responsibilities of each party, and any limits on how the service may be used. Review them before relying on Syntic Code for production or commercial work, and make sure your intended use falls within what they permit.

Your code and your data

Syntic Code operates on the repository you point it at and sends the context a task requires to the Syntic model in order to produce a response. You remain responsible for what you ask it to do and for reviewing what it produces before you use it. Treat Amara’s output as you would a contribution from any collaborator: review it, test it, and confirm it meets your own licensing and quality obligations before it ships.

Licensing and compliance

If you build on or redistribute anything Syntic Code helps you create, the licensing of your own project remains your responsibility — Amara does not change the license of your code. When compliance requirements such as data handling or industry regulations apply to your work, confirm that your use of Syntic Code fits within them. For binding answers on licensing, data processing, or contractual questions, consult the official Syntic AI terms and, where appropriate, your own legal counsel.
